As a Yoga teacher, Ay strives to offer a contemplative, strength, and stability based mind-body practice that focuses on relaxation and healing through mindful and intelligent movement. Her classes are informed by her Anusara training and regular meditation practice. Using specific alignment and sensitivity to breath, she guides students to make concrete connections between the mind, body and spirit. She believes that the way we interact physically and mentally with our asana practice is a metaphor that helps us see with greater clarity, wisdom and compassion the ways we respond to life. Her classes tend to be meditative and soothing, or playful and enlivening.
