Jessica began her journey into the depths of yoga in 1997, and continues to find new twists and turns on the path each day! She hopes to offer her students the possibilities of consistent expansion in their bodies, hearts and lives, along with the choice to connect to their own truth and potential in every moment. She teaches playful, challenging classes with a focus on alignment, breath and connection to one's own heart. In addition to teaching public classes, she teaches yoga to incarcerated teen girls and to recovering drug addicts with The Art of Yoga Project.
Jessica is an E-RYT 500 certified Yoga Instructor with over 1500 hours of training and is also a certified Level 1 Reiki practitioner. She maintains a deep foundation in the original (circa 2000) principles of Anusara™ yoga, has specific training to teach at risk youth, and studies Tantric philosophy, meditation, the eight limbed path, anatomy, pranayama, and how these practices can help us to engage in and live a more empowered life. She offers deep gratitude to all of her teachers - past, present and future.
