Focusing on Alignment

with Monique Jenkinson, Yoga Teacher


Building The Foundation: Alignment is essential for a safe, effective yoga practice. Proper alignment creates a more dynamic flow of energy through the body. When we align ourselves, things fall into place.

In this workshop we will begin with the basics (sitting and standing), examine the transitions of the sun salutation, and finally, move into more complicated poses (backbends and arm balances). I will allow time to work on specific student alignment issues and requests. All levels are welcome. Since we'll be getting into some individualized work, class size is limited to 12 students.

Partner Yoga Workshop

PRENATAL YOGA
